Created to commemorate the auspicious 64th birthday of Luang Phor Chanai (Luang Phor Chinai Chantasaro) of Wat Sangkha Pridi, Khon Kaen, this new release is officially known as Suea 9 Chiwit — the Nine Lives Tiger
The name “Nine Lives Tiger” represents extraordinary resilience—the strength to survive hardship, recover after adversity and continue forward when others might fall. Rooted in LP Chanai’s celebrated tiger tradition, the design is traditionally associated with protection, courage, endurance, commanding presence and the ability to overcome dangerous or hostile situations.
The Front: presents a finely detailed seated portrait of Luang Phor Chanai of Wat Sangkha Pridi, rendered in gold with a rich orange robe. His image is set against a deep translucent red centre, framed by an emerald-green border carrying traditional decorative inscriptions.
Beneath Luang Phor Chanai is the Headless Tiger, shown moving forward despite having no head. This important symbol from his lineage represents absolute endurance, survival instinct and the determination to continue without fear.
The Back: is finished in a bright gold tone and features a vivid raised Headless Tiger at its centre. The tiger is decorated in orange with contrasting black stripes, making it stand prominently against the polished metal background.
Surrounding the tiger are finely engraved yantra formations, Khom characters and sacred inscriptions. These elements connect the tiger with the traditional qualities of protection, courage, authority and resilience against danger.
Sections of red, white and saffron-coloured sacred cloth have also been placed inside the reverse of the case, giving the piece an additional physical connection to its consecrated origins.
Custom case
The amulet is protected by a bold handcrafted case built around a gloss-black base. Red panels with black sacred-style motifs run along both sides, while silver lower sections and metallic-gold details create a strong, ceremonial contrast.
Gold script and ornamental designs decorate the upper frame, with further Thai lettering finished in gold along the bottom. A clear protective cover keeps both faces visible while preserving the coloured surfaces and sacred materials inside.
The combination of black, red, green, silver and gold gives this piece a striking and powerful appearance—perfectly complementing the fearless symbolism of Luang Phor Chanai’s Headless Tiger tradition.
