A striking amulet from the Ajarn Jack and Luang Phor Chanai lineage, traditionally associated by devotees with protection, courage, alertness, authority and resilience when facing adversity.
Ajarn Jack of the Phrai Phayak Dam tradition is known among collectors as a close disciple within the lineage of LP Chanai, the revered master strongly associated with the Headless Tiger wicha. His creations continue this distinctive tiger tradition while combining sacred yantra, guardian imagery and traditional consecrated materials.
The Front: presents a fierce chained tiger
Every surface is richly engraved, giving the piece a commanding three-dimensional appearance. Traditionally, imagery of this kind is associated with heightened awareness, courage, authority and the strength to confront danger or difficult circumstances.
The Reverse:
The reverse is covered with an elaborate arrangement of sacred Khom characters, yantra and protective geometric inscriptions. These overlapping lines and symbols form the spiritual foundation of the piece. The back also contains visible sacred inserts, including a bundle of natural hair-like fibres and a small cloth-bound material or takrut-style element. These were incorporated as part of the amulet’s original construction and add considerably to its individual character. Thai markings and an issue number are stamped beneath the yantra
Case:
The amulet is housed inside a fitted, crystal-clear protective plastic case shaped closely around its distinctive outline. This protects the raised metalwork and sacred inserts while allowing both sides to remain completely visible. A strong silver-coloured hanging ring is fitted at the top, making the piece ready to wear.
