A richly detailed double-sided Yak amulet representing spiritual guardianship, expanding prosperity and the protection of accumulated wealth.
This amulet was blessed by Luang Pho Chang Techapanyo of Wat Chuk Choe in Chachoengsao It belongs to the Somphot Wihan Rueang Kaeo Edition, created in B.E. 2567 (2024) to commemorate the temple’s Wihan Rueang Kaeo ceremonial hall.
The design brings together Wat Chuk Choe’s two celebrated manifestations of Thao Wessuwan:
- Thao Rung Rueang (ท้าวรุ่งเรือง) - “The Lord of Flourishing Prosperity”
- Thao Ram Ruay (ท้าวร่ำรวย) - “The Lord of Abundant Wealth”
The Front: Thao Rung Rueang The front presents Thao Wessuwan standing in full ceremonial armour, gripping his powerful guardian club with both hands. His fierce Yak features, tall crown and commanding posture embody authority, vigilance and the strength to repel harmful influences. Sacred Khom characters surround the figure, while flame-like ornamentation rises around his legs. The intricate base is richly finished in gold, with iridescent shades of green, purple, blue and bronze flowing across the armour and background.
The Reverse: Thao Ram Ruay - The reverse depicts the wealth-bestowing guardian seated in a powerful, composed posture. He holds a sacred yantra grid against his chest, representing the gathering, organisation and protection of prosperity.
His elaborate crown, prominent fangs and richly ornamented armour express command over spiritual forces and guardianship of treasure. Sacred inscriptions and yantra characters encircle the figure, while the lower section carries additional consecrated markings and the individual issue number.
