A commanding double-sided medallion uniting the protective authority of the Naga with the fearless power of Hanuman.
Created in B.E. 2567 (2024) from blackened copper, the Traiphum Medallion was produced by the Sorn Phrai Phayak Dam Institute under the direction of Ajarn Jack, a principal disciple within the lineage. The medallion underwent three separate consecration ceremonies, reflecting its name Traiphum—the traditional Buddhist concept of the three realms of existence
The Front: Hanuman: The reverse presents the fierce crowned head of Phaya Hanuman, the immortal monkey warrior celebrated for his courage, loyalty and extraordinary resilience. His intense expression, prominent fangs and ceremonial headdress embody fearlessness, commanding presence and the determination to overcome powerful opposition.
The Reverse: Naga: A crowned Naga rises powerfully from its tightly coiled body, surrounded by sacred Khom inscriptions and yantra characters. The Naga traditionally represents guardianship, spiritual authority, prosperity and the protection of accumulated wealth. An orange-and-white sacred cord is attached near the base as an additional consecrated element.
