The tiger has long represented strength, courage, protection and authority within Thai sacred tradition. The King Tiger elevates this symbolism further, representing the tiger that stands above all others—fearless, dominant and unshaken when confronted by danger or opposition.

Front

The front features a powerful tiger charging directly towards the viewer, its jaws open and claws extended. The depth of the sculpting is exceptional, from the individual strands of fur and pronounced facial lines to the sharp teeth, whiskers and raised claws.

The tiger’s direct, forward-facing posture conveys courage, readiness and absolute determination. Behind it, a second tiger form and curling tail strengthen the layered composition and give the design an added sense of movement.

The raised gold tiger imagery sits against a rich translucent crimson-red enamel background, producing a bold and luxurious contrast. Sacred Khom characters, yantra markings and inscriptions are positioned throughout the background, surrounding the tiger with traditional spiritual symbolism.

Reverse

The reverse presents the King Tiger from a different perspective. Here, the tiger rises with its mouth fully open, displaying long fangs and powerful front claws. Its posture is defensive and commanding, as though warning away anything that approaches with harmful intent.

The combination of polished gold and deep red enamel gives this edition a commanding ceremonial appearance.

The reverse also carries identifying inscriptions connected to the edition and its sacred origin. Every part of the design—from the tiger’s deeply carved fur to the smallest characters—has been created with remarkable definition.
